Lineage Coffee - E. Colonial - Orlando

The Coffee (9 / 10)

Lineage features a rotating seasonal menu of more 'craft' coffees, in addition to the usual cold brew, batch brew, lattes etc... Most drinks range from $3-$6 each which is pretty fair pricing now days. They have great pour over coffee with many different roasts & origins to pick from.

The password as of 06/15 is batchbrew - all lower case one word.

Noise Levels - Loud (5 / 10)

Overall noise is average for a busy coffee shop, the place has a lot of reverb so despite not playing their music loudly there is just a lot of sound at all times. On average it runs around 70 decibels. For context, anything above 70 decibels will be heard over your music in a pair of Air Pods Pro.

Seating Comfort (7 / 10)

With 5 booth seats, 10 mid back chairs, and two bars, there is plenty of seating around, however the chairs are made out of metal and very uncomfortable for long term seating. They have two sizes of tables, the ones with booth seating are smaller and barely hold a 16" Mac Book Pro, where as the tables and bar easily hold a larger laptop.

Outlets are located under the benches, which is a great way to enable people to charge their devices while reducing wall clutter.

If the indoor seating is not available, there is also 4 tables outdoors that have 4 chairs each, but no outlets available.

Parking (10 / 10)

Ample free parking in the parking lot outside the building, I have had no issues finding parking here.

Mike Score (46 / 60)

Overall, Lineage at E. Colonial has fantastic coffee, with a great setup for people working on the go. The noise can be a bit loud but is not much worse than any other popular spot.
